Confessions Of Luxury Hand Cream Addict
My favorite beauty products are the ones considered by most to be “extra”. Personally I don’t think it gets any more extra than luxury hand creams. I’m obsessed with slathering on chicly scented creams and love the utterly self-indulgent beauty ritual.
I’m so addicted that I have multiple hand creams in my bag at all times. One just never seems to be enough to keep me satisfied. For me multiples are a must-have!
For on the go I prefer more heavily scented creams and like to apply them a couple hours after leaving the house when my actual perfume has started to dissipate. It’s a nice way to keep my hands moisturized and having my hand creams working double duty as a secondary perfume is a major bonus!
For at home use I prefer creams with added benefits. I like using hand creams that contain retinol for overnight use. And sometimes layer it with a super moisturizing cream if my hands are extra dry. To prevent greasy fingers from touching my iPhone or god forbid my cat before bed, I rub any excess on elbows and knees.
There’s nothing better than waking up to super soft well hydrated hands first thing in the morning. A detail I appreciate no matter how much sleep and time I’m lacking.
Favorite Hand Creams
I find it impossible to choose a single hand cream as my favorite and instead will list off multiple favorites and their benefits down below. All of these have worked wonderfully for me and are great for dry hands. My hands are chronically dry from washing them multiple times and day and frequent weather changes. Aside from keeping a few in my bag, I also have a couple stashed near my bedside for easy access.
